Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst will be a part of the Specialty Pharmacy mail order division of Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness Financial Planning and Analysis team supporting specialty pharmacy operations. The candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and supportive team reporting to a Senior Manager. This role allows the candidate to gain valuable financial planning and analysis experience within the Pharmacy and Healthcare space at an industry-leading company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists in the development and preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans by collaborating with stakeholders to gather inputs, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for financial targets and resource allocation.

  • Conducts in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.

  • Supports the forecasting process by analyzing trends, identifying key drivers, and preparing financial models to evaluate different scenarios and their impact on financial outcomes.

  • Identifies areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Develops complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, investment analysis, and business planning.

  • Implements improvements in forecasting methodologies, data collection, and analysis techniques to enhance forecasting capabilities.

  • Identifies opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data accuracy.

  • Edits and improves team processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and identifies bottlenecks or areas for improvement and implements changes to optimize team performance.

  • Assists in coaching and providing guidance to junior-level team members and helps them resolve problems and answer questions

    Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience

  • 5+ years of experience with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge

  • 5+ years of experience with analytics and the building of financial expense budgets, forecasting and month end variance analysis

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work with large data sets and data manipulation

  • Experience with Tableau and Alteryx a plus

  • Knowledge of SAP, Analysis for Office

  • Experience at a large, public company

  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines

  • Quick learner with time management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to be flexible, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines

    Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
