In Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS), Office of CISO, we provide platforms, services, and security operations capabilities which enable the firm to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes securely and safely. Securing our IT assets, data, and access to applications is the core of who we are and what we do. We ensure only the appropriate entities have access to IT resources and that we adhere to best practices and standards to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA). The IAM BSA should possess broad knowledge and experience of Identity and Access Management solutions enabling them to execute in a traditional business systems analyst capacity. The BSA, positioned within the IAM Engineering team, will partner, and collaborate with stakeholders from across the enterprise to appropriately capture requirements as they pertain to the Charles Schwab IAM environment and SCS standards.
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will liaison with SCS IAM Leadership, Engineering and QA resources on a regular and continuing basis. The individual will foster adherence to policy and provide analysis to support implementation of leading-edge technology to position the organization for success – improving efficiency, increasing security posture, and supporting growth of the firm’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program.
Work with Schwab Cyber Security (SCS) Services and Application teams to document respective cross requirement dependencies. Including building partnerships with stakeholders, ensuring support and alignment with project/program outcomes as they pertain to the Charles Schwab IAM environment and standards.
Apply expertise in requirements management activities for the identified project or program initiative to develop effective practices for analyzing, organizing, and validating requirements to support efficient development and operation.
Liaison with SCS Leadership, Engineering and QA resources, ensuring awareness, input, and requirement analysis to effectively execute, assess, and deploy solutions.
What you have
Required Qualifications
Possess 5+ years of progressive experience as a requirements analyst, either technical or business. Including, demonstrable experience documenting Functional and Non-Functional requirements.
4+ years of demonstrable effective communication and documentation skills with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Including coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes and tracking of action items.
2+ years of experience in a cyber security and / or identity and access management capacity.
2+ years of experience with capturing details that will be used for requirements. In turn, quantifying those requirements for planning purposes and benefit realization.
2+ years of experience working with Project Managers and delivery stakeholders, using Agile methodologies, while managing multiple top priorities/ tasks.
BA/BS degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Self-starter that shows initiative and the ability to multi-task across diverse assignments.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
Experience in project planning, meeting facilitation with multiple groups and across projects.
Experience with the Software Design Lifecycle using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
