Serves as a role model, demonstrating effective patient care, leadership and professional behavior.Ensures staffing coverage adequate to meet patient care needs.Evaluates staff performance, following processes for appropriate counseling.Participates in APP recruiting processes, including interviewing and selection of staff.Assists with the coordination and development of staff meeting.Facilitates the orientation of all new APPs and promotes ongoing professional development in collaboration with the APP Academic Manager.Ensures optimization of clinical initiatives, identifies opportunities for innovation, and supports other practice activities.Provides feedback and suggestions to the APP Director and Service Chief related to clinic needs and allocation of resources.Quality Management: Attends Pre-QA and QA conference. Leads various special project teams to address areas of concernPerforms other related duties as assigned.
