This role in summary
The Team Lead is the primary backup to the People Leader. This is accomplished by working "side by side" with the warehouse employees to keep the People Leader informed of issues (space, equipment, procedures, training, etc). The Production Leader will be directly involved in new employee orientation and training, creating and fostering a professional environment through leadership and direct interaction.

Your responsibilities will include
Advising the People Leader if daily manpower is sufficient/insufficient
Will be a working team lead and will be assigned to pick, scan, and load as needed
Verify accuracy on all shipments as directed and assist in troubleshooting orders
Ensure proper handling of product during dock, scan, load, unload, and put away processes per standards
Complete daily reports including but not limited to Shift Summary, Window Shipment Schedule, other required reports
Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines
Be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and assist in physical inventory as needed
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and ensure that all unsafe conditions are reported to the shift supervisor immediately
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum requirements
Must be able to read English, count accurately, add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, compute ratio, and percent, and write legibly.
Requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and training classes
Have experience with the ability to operate office equipment/computers (Google Suite, Logics 2.0, database knowledge)
Ability to operate material handling equipment
Ability to cover all warehouse positions
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagrammatic or scheduled form
Capable of repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs; must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Ability to follow directions
Ability to multi-task daily activities
