Your commitment to availability and involvement will make a meaningful impact on your patients' well-being.Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a Physical Therapist with a strong outpatient skill set and comfort in treating patients in our Lymphedema specialty. This position will be part of our Lymphedema program and will join three other certified therapists. The case mix of patients is open for discussion to balance needs of caseload and therapist. The Work:

  • Lymphedema Specialty, Case mix open for discussion.

  • Currently running a Lymphedema Camp that we are looking to expand.

  • Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

  • Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.

  • Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.

  • Documents subjective, objective, and assessment findings and plans patient progress.

  • Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver.

  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.

  • Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

  • Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

    You Have:

  • Maine State Physical Therapy licensure required.

  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.
