We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join our Production Engineering Team and be responsible for:

• Delivering “first response” technical support and solutions to the Operations team on our transformer production-lines.

• Working on initiatives to improve the quality output of the product, maximise production efficiency and reduce cost of existing designs.

• Design test protocols and conduct the appropriate testing required to prove a concept or validate a design or production element.

• Producing technical reports or documenting processes as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

• 3+ years working experience, preferably in manufacturing

• Very good practical experience in electrical manufacturing such as armature winding, cable stripping, crimped and soldered terminals, insulation, switchgear and instrumentation.

• Excellent grasp of Electrical First Principles

• Proven ability to solve complex problems using tools such as RCA and use of data and statistical methods.

• Demonstrate competency in practical experimental methods for concept validation

• Competency in electrical testing
