Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Publicity Associate responsibilities include supporting the Marketing & Publicity teams in the delivery of campaigns promoting WBD’s NZ flagship brands currently led by ThreeNow. This work is a critical factor for the smooth operation of the ANZ WBD Marketing and Publicity departments and the attainment of its goals which contribute to the long-term growth of the company.

At the core of the role, the Marketing & Publicity Associate supports their team by taking ownership for critical operational and administrative tasks that are essential in order to deliver on all aspects of the agreed marketing strategy. You will manage, co-ordinate and execute designated tasks on a consistent basis to ensure marketing and publicity campaigns are delivered on time and to the highest standard. The role will work closely with multiple departments and stakeholders, so a collaborative mindset and ability to problem solve is essential. What you’ll do:

Marketing Implementation & Execution

  • S upport members of the marketing team with executing and tracking marketing campaigns.

  • Manage the production of marketing materials and collateral. Completion of creative deliverables for all owned and paid marketing campaigns, and ensuring deadlines are adhered to

  • Co-ordination of creative approvals

  • Brief and execute OOH, radio and digital media planning requirements. Distribute all marketing campaign assets to media suppliers and issue material instructions.

  • Raising and suppling purchase orders as required.

  • Provide assistance and support for trade marketing activities when required (gathering of information, assistance with briefs, coordination of creative collateral, administrative support, etc).

  • Provide administrative support for marketing programs.

  • Contribute to the development of campaign strategies. Be an active participant in brainstorm sessions, attend media planning meetings and share thoughts and feedback on media strategy and tactics, provide creative feedback, etc.

Publicity Responsibilities and Support

  • Collate, assess, write copy and distribute monthly publicity highlights for ANZ brands.

  • Gather and file imagery for programmes and talent across ANZ brands as required.

  • Respond to media requests providing accurate and timely programming information, imagery or screeners.

  • Support the publicity team in the preparation and collation of media releases, press kits, constructing media itineraries and booking facilities for shoots etc.

  • Work with the Brand Asset Coordinator to support requests.

Reporting

  • Collate post campaign analysis for overall Marketing activity in a way that tells the narrative in a professional and succinct manner for stakeholder circulation.

  • Collate post coverage reports for publicity campaigns and weekly internal media reports of all secured press.

  • Gather, collate and execute data insights for publicity reach and relevant reporting using specific data gathering tools.

All - Collaboration

  • Support and collaborate with members of the WBD marketing team and stakeholders including, executive producers, content, programming, legal, and external agency partners to support key marketing and publicity priorities.
