You support key account teams on a wide variety of activities to meet our strategic growth plan.
Opportunity to have full ownership of full year plan/execution and P&L where you will bring your drive, ideas and experience to deliver growth within specific Foodstuffs South Island banners.
How you will contribute
You will:
Support Senior Account Manager to ensure an effectively communicated, coordinated and focused sales effort against key commercial priorities
Ensure delivery of customer internal operating procedure objectives
Develop and implement gap closing initiative, in conjunction with Category Development
Ensure application of trade spend is consistent with national plans and business principles
Manage debtors to maximise profitability
Negotiate with applicable account representatives, to build and maintain favourable and effective relationships with customers
Provide support for all activities necessary to managing the customer relationship effectively including trade funds, invoicing and claims queries, relevant sales promotions, merchandising, shelf management and national sales programs etc.

What extra ingredients you will bring:
Knowledge of FMCG business in NZ – preferably having dealt with Foodstuffs and understanding of their business model
Experience in Account Management, Category and/or Field Sales Manager is preferred but not essential
