Job Title: Forming Fabricator
Job Description
We are a world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for commercial, business, regional, and military aerospace customers. Our Forming Fabricators must function as productive, contributing, and responsible members of their work team. You will support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending, punching, hand forming, deburring, or sawing metal products as instructed by supervisors. This is an entry-level position, and we are open to candidates from various backgrounds and experiences as long as they have the attitude and aptitude to learn and grow with an aerospace company. Responsibilities
Assemble parts as instructed by supervisors.
Operate machinery to produce metal products.
Bend, punch, hand form, deburr, or saw metal products.
Support the production team in various tasks.
Adhere to quality policies, mission statement, and other company policies and procedures.
Ensure total customer satisfaction through quality products and services.
Contribute to lean processes, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery.
Maintain a safe working environment and respect for team members.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with mechanical tasks and fabrication.
Knowledge of calipers and machine operating.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Understanding of CNC machine operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of punching processes and punch tooling is a plus.
Experience with roll forming and brake forming is beneficial.
Understanding of process flows, lead times, and lean principles in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Strong team player and reliable.
Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean manufacturing shop that works with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts. It can be heavy and loud but is well-organized. The regular shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for overtime, including weekends. The physical demands include standing, using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, walking, talking, hearing, occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and lifting or moving weights up to and over 75 pounds.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
