TEKsystems Product Specialist in Auburn Hills, Michigan
Description:
The Product Specialist is responsible for ordering and quoting replacement parts related to service requests. There will be no information regarding what needs to be ordered, it is up to the Specialists to diagnose the issue, understand the product/series, and create the replacement order based on their own product knowledge. They will be creating replacement part orders and must have a high sense of urgency. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm - On Site WILL have to work overtime about 7-8 months out of the year Job Description: • Primary job responsibility is to gather information via incoming service requests sent by Customer Service team • Will receive service request detailing the issue the customer is having with their product, diagnose what needs to be ordered, and facilitate the order and quoting process • Diagnosing service issues - will have to know the product series, details specific to the product, and identify the specific part needed in order to remedy product issue • Order and quote replacement parts, create replacement orders service requests • Enter Credit Requests for all warranty parts ordered • Volume fluctuates throughout the seasons, and generally higher on the Mondays due to being closed on the weekends
