Adecco is assisting a client in search of a material handler in the Auburn Hills, MI area. This role is on 2nd shift from approximately 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM M-F, with OT available. Job title : Material Handler - 2nd Shift
Job Summary The candidate will work as a Material Handler during the second shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, performing stockroom duties such as stocking materials from receiving and managing part bins using FIFO methods. They will also verify material locations using SAP transactions and participate in team activities and safety compliance.
Even Simpler: The job is for someone who helps organize and move materials in a warehouse during the evening hours. This person will make sure items are stored correctly and safely while working with their team.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
FIFO knowledge for part bin management
SAP transaction review skills
Basic Microsoft application experience
Ability to operate equipment like pallet jacks
Understanding of Environmental Health and Safety standards
Skill Education
FIFO: Refers to First In First Out inventory management method where older stock is used first.
SAP: An enterprise resource planning software used for managing business operations.
Environmental Health and Safety standards: Guidelines ensuring workplace safety by reducing risks related to health hazards.
Microsoft application experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, etc.
Pallet jacks: Equipment used for lifting and moving pallets within warehouses.
Pay Details: $17.60 per hour
