Note: The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Hours: 6x8's, Monday-Saturday, 40+ hours

  • Assist the team with electrical installation for new AC systems

  • Pull wire for power and control circuits related to the AC units

  • Install and replace electrical components, including disconnects, relays, and breakers

  • Make electrical connections for the new AC systems, ensuring proper voltage and phase matching

  • Work from aerial lifts and scissor lifts to run conduit, mount panels, and complete overhead wiring

  • Use electrical hand tools and screw guns for securing conduit, fixtures, and fasteners

  • Troubleshoot low-voltage and high-voltage circuits as needed

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and Walmart safety standards

  • Assist with panel terminations and connection of control wiring

  • Conduct continuity and voltage testing to verify proper installations

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools

  • Follow all OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and site safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Installation & Troubleshooting

  • Skilled in pulling wire, making connections, and diagnosing electrical issues

  • Knowledge of NEC Codes & Safety Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with OSHA, lockout/tagout, and Walmart safety standards

  • Experience with HVAC Electrical Systems

  • Ability to wire and connect new AC units, including disconnects and control wiring

  • Ability to Work from Lifts

  • Comfortable operating aerial and scissor lifts for overhead electrical work

  • Proficiency with Electrical Tools

  • Skilled in using meters, screw guns, drills, and conduit benders

  • Blueprint & Schematic Reading Can interpret electrical diagrams and follow installation plans accurately

  • Strong Teamwork & Communication

  • Works effectively with the ECE team, HVAC technicians, and supervisors

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Prior experience in the commercial field required

  • Position may require a drug screen
