Carrington Vendor Site Auditor in Atlanta, Georgia

The Quality Control Vendor Site Auditor will be responsible for planning and conducting vendor site audits. Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, federal, regulatory and client requirements. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $68,000 to $72,000 Annually + Annual Bonus.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in any vendor investigations involving consumer/Third Party complaints, negative news, regulatory violations and or suspicious vendor activities.

  • Incorporate issues and concerns identified by the line of business (“LOB”) Vendor Relationship Manager’s day-to-day vendor oversight, back into the Vendor Audit Program.

  • Recommend, as appropriate, vendor termination based on the vendor audit results.

  • Adjust the Vendor Audit Program, as necessary, due to mergers/acquisitions and/or customer request for proposal activities.

  • Implement the approved Vendor Audit Program including, as appropriate, any special requests or projects requested by management and LOB.

  • Evaluate and assess evolving business needs, changes in processes and operations, and or special client requirements.

  • Inform Risk Management’s Executive Management of emerging trends and technology in Vendor audit process.

  • Publish periodic reports to management summarizing results of Vendor audit outcomes and results.

  • Evaluate the extent and appropriateness of the scope of Vendor audits.

  • Manage and monitoring outsourced Vendor audit services as needed.

  • Conduct on-site reviews and evaluate the adequacy of the vendor’s risk/compliance processes and controls including drafting audit reports on results of site visits.

  • Ensure compliance with agency (GNMA, FNMA, FHLMC) investor and internal Carrington guidelines.

  • Provide reporting to internal management regarding vendor compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure vendor compliance with SLA/contractual expectations.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other business field or equivalent work experience.

  • Three plus years residential mortgage loan servicing experience including industry standard business practices, procedures and compliance requirements related to the areas of Default Management.

  • Job will require occasional travel within the continental United States.
