Overview
You will monitor principal investment deals by ensuring all coding in our systems is correct, reporting is accurate, and deals are reconciled once complete. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a background in client finance, accounting, or AR/AP functions (preferably within a media agency or media vendor). You will report to Senior Vice President, Client Billing.
This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
Monitor how media buys are tagged in multiple systems to ensure consistency and accuracy of principal inventory tracking and balances
Work closely with activation teams to identify and correct coding errors
Monitor principal investment balances and expiration dates and work closely with corporate accounting and investment leads to mitigate loss due to unsold inventory
Work with AP and treasury teams to ensure payments are not issued on invoices that are utilizing principal inventory
Once principal investment deals are completely utilized and actualized against supplier invoices, work with investment, accounting, and treasury to close out deals
Collaborate with all principal investment suppliers on a quarterly basis to ensure APEX and suppliers are aligned on media buys using principal inventory
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in client finance, accounting, or AR/AP functions (preferably within a media agency or media vendor)
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy across a large volume of transactions
Ability to work independently and prioritize projects
Excellent Excel skills, including pivots, concatenate/XLOOKUP, etc. is essential
Knowledge of Mediaocean's Spectra OX, Prisma, other media buying systems, or Salesforce are a plus
