JOB DUTIES:
Software Engineer II positions available at WarnerMedia Services, LLC in Atlanta, GA. Build new technical solutions for multiple applications to meet global Data Privacy regulations for CNN Digitals online platforms. Develop code packages to handle scripts on the websites as per users' data consent. Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify privacy concerns. Work on building testing infrastructure to efficiently test the application and automate the testing process. Collaborate with the Data Privacy product teams to design new user interface features. Work with external APIs and vendors to enforce proper handling of consumer PII and SPI data elements. Onboard new vendors and work with them to create a workflow to manage users' data for compliance. Have a good understanding of data privacy regulation, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and LATAM. Develop new data privacy features and technical workflows to provide the user with multiple data-sharing consent options. Provide suggestions on implementing the right technology tools/framework for new requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a minimum of a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or at least 2 years of experience in software engineering. Stated experience must include at least 2 years of experience in the following: Javascript, ReactJs, Node.js, and Python; Html, CSS, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and testRail, AWS services; database system Postgres; and working with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and GPP.
