Senior Program Manager - US
In the role of Senior Program Manager , you will be required to drive engineering of one or more product lines, help define product strategy, assemble the core product team responsible for delivering on the strategy, assist in feasibility study of products/product line, assist in developing proof of concepts/solutions, anchor technical discussions with the client, review project scope and estimation, monitor project schedules, define and monitor quality plans, review project risk plans, review architecture for release, plan product release, contribute to brand enhancements and capability development WITH an objective to achieve the defined roadmap WITHIN guidelines and norms of Infosys.
Location for this position is ATLANTA, GA. This role needs travel as per business needs in and outside US.
Key Responsibilities: Product Roadmap Definition, review and overall ownership Product ideation and Strategy Product Development and Design Assist in the selection of new product (or product line) ideas by contributing to areas like marketability of the idea, technical feasibility, cost benefit analysis Provide inputs on product and product roadmap at prospecting stage as and when needed IN ORDER TO support the sales team in closing deals. Client Management and Support: Provide inputs/resources for developing client specific solutions/POC IN ORDER TO ensure all client interactions are of the highest quality. Track at a high level the project progress against plans on a regular basis and keep assessing project risks IN ORDER TO proactively mitigate risks or keeping external stake holders informed. Team Management and Capability Development Brand enhancement and Thought Leadership Qualifications Basic Engineering Graduate, or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. At least 13 years of Life Insurance Product and IT experience as per the Job description Preferred
At least 13 years of experience in the Life and annuity insurance industry At least 13 years of experience with life insurance Policy Admin Systems, such as ALIP, OIPAS, Guidewire, WMA Experience in the area of Product Strategy and leading decisions on Product development Strong knowledge on Life Insurance terminology and Data Structures (such as the ACORD model) Experience in analyzing functionalities and designing applications for various insurance products (Term, Whole/Universal/Variable Universal Life, Fixed/variable Annuity, Payout/Structured Settlements and/or Disability) Experience working on development of Platforms Delivering with near-shore and off-shore teams LOMA/CLU Certifications Client management and Communication Skills Team management Analytical skills Note: Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa (H1B or otherwise).
