Overview

The Global Benefits Offerings team develops the strategic framework and leads the selection of meaningful benefits that support Intuit’s global workforce with the aim to provide a seamless and delightful experience that supports employee’s overall wellbeing and enables them to do the best work of their lives. To further help deliver on this mission, and prepare our team for Intuit’s future growth, we are seeking an experienced and driven program manager to serve our family care and wellbeing programs.

This role is an exciting opportunity to manage current and new global benefit program initiatives that shape Intuit’s benefit programs, plan design, and program performance in seven countries. In this role, you will research programs, analyze data, and create strategic proposals that synthesize into the broader family care and wellbeing benefit strategy. You will also collaborate with multiple internal benefit program managers, leaders, and stakeholders - and external consultants and third-party vendors - to probe employee needs and evaluate program utilization metrics, benchmarking data, and vendor performance to hold vendors accountable, execute on our strategy, and deliver results. To be successful in this role, you will need strong skills in benefit program management, subject matter expertise in vendor management, critical thinking and analytical capabilities, proven project management skills, a strong sense of ownership, and a broad communication skillset.

The Senior Program Manager for Intuit’s Family Care and Wellbeing Global Benefit Programs is a member of our People and Places team and reports to the Senior Manager/Practice Leader for Intuit’s Global Mental Health, Wellbeing, and Family Care Benefits. This role will help develop and implement strategies for world-class family care and wellbeing benefits and is an ideal opportunity for a creative, collaborative, and curious self-starter, with a strong skillset in building relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. The aim is to leverage data, understand the market/ecosystem, and strive for innovation to tell the end-to-end "benefits design story" and develop a holistic program strategy, while also improving vendor accountability and creating a delightful employee experience.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (i.e., Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Data Science/Analytics, Health Program Statistics, Industrial Engineering); master's degree preferred.

  • 8-10 years medium-to-large employer experience (10,000+ employees/covered lives) working in benefit program design, program operations, or population health management with a preference for family care, mental health, or wellbeing experience.

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated project management with preferred end-to-end experience selecting and launching programs and a proven ability to drive projects to successful implementation.

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills, with pragmatic abilities to develop workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong data analytic and critical thinking skills combined with the ability to synthesize information into a set of solutions or strategies that solve a problem or improve the product.

  • Internally driven and able to work autonomously in ambiguous circumstances in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder organization.

  • Strong business judgment and bias for action that translates to common-sense approaches to leverage data, write effectively, and “tell the story” with the ultimate goal of delivering high quality and impactful results for the customer.

Major responsibilities include:

Global Family Care Benefit Strategy

  • Ongoing assessment of Intuit offerings and policies inclusive of contract review, benchmarking, performance data, member experience, outcomes, etc.

  • Discover and define a global minimum standard and strategic program design based on gaps, global equity, employee feedback, and cultural/social considerations.

  • Initiate review for information cadence to determine RFP, programmatic recommendations, and change management strategy to mitigate gaps, create equity, and enhance family care benefits.

  • Partner with employees and key stakeholders/team members across Intuit to earn trust and establish mechanisms (such as an Advisory Board) for strong lines of communication and inclusion.

  • Support communication strategies to increase awareness, enhance engagement, and hold vendors accountable for tracking results.

  • Collaborate with consultants and internal Intuit teams to monitor and respond to feedback, benchmarking, trends, innovative market disruptors, and the vendor landscape.

Employee Resource Group (ERG) community engagement and global activity monitoring

  • Support benefit-focused requests from the ERG communities.

  • Monitor global activity within the mental health, wellbeing, and family care space.

  • Build trust and establish that the benefit team is a supportive and valuable SME.

Wellbeing and Mental Health

  • Support RFI/RFP processes and development of strategic proposals and documents for mental health and wellbeing programs.

Strategic Vendor Management function (in partnership with Global Benefits Delivery team)

  • Analyze and strategically respond to vendor reporting, internal HRC or WTW trending and feedback, voice of employee anecdotes and formal surveys and coordinate with vendors to implement.

  • Perform due diligence on vendor performance guarantees, member experience, escalations, and gaps in care.

  • Establish a cadence of meetings and coordinate annual and quarterly broader stakeholder inclusive report outs.
