Modivcare Revenue Assurance Staff Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia

Modivcare is looking for a Revenue Assurance Staff Accountant to be responsible for applying principles of accounting using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory reporting and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) guidance to perform accounting assignments.
You will...
Supports one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.
Provides assistance to interpret financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.
Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements.
Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.
Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
Prepares processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with company (revenue recognition) policy.
Reviews, tracks and maintains billing information in financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
Prepares reports, process and procedures; effectively responds to questions from internal team members and external vendors.
Prepares reconciliations and supporting documentation within required timeframes.
Supports the implementations of projects, procedural documentation.
May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
We are excited to speak to someone with the following...
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
Three (3) plus years progressive experience in Accounting.
CPA preferred.
Experience managing large volumes of data; Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
CPA track preferred
Big 4 experience preferred
Revenue experience preferred
Experience of Workday (ERP) preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Salary: $62,150 - $80,650
