Emory University and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is seeking a part-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the PA Program. This is an academic position requiring student advising and teaching responsibilities.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Facilitating small group learning sessions
Providing professional and academic advisement for students
Assessing student work, including written documentation, live or recorded OSCEs, and summative evaluations
Assisting in skills training and simulation lab sessions
Engaging in quarterlySocietymeetings and the Emory PA Program retreat
Completing additional tasks as assigned by the course director and program director
Qualifications Required:
A Master’s degree or higher
Current NCCPA certification
Current GA license or eligible for GA license
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
Faculty experience preferably in PA education or precepting
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
