Federal Reserve System Lead Business Analyst (HR Audit/Compliance Team) in Atlanta, Georgia

Under minimal supervision, uses data modeling and forecasting to test the likely outcome of different actions based on data; performs a broad range of analytical services that align data models with business initiatives and strategic goals; leads advanced and complex data driven internal improvement efforts and implementation plans; leads the coordination of the information flow among business lines to achieve desired outcomes.

We are a dynamic hybrid workplace environment that requires at least 2 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serves as a primary department point of contact for audit/compliance-related activities and supports risk assessments and related monitoring activities.

  • Risk Manager: Leads and encourages the identification, escalation and resolution of potential risks. Conduct compliance review and provide optimization advice for HR Policies.Provide cross-function compliance-related coordination, and support ad-hoc HR compliance matters.

  • Performs work with highly confidential information. Produces written products resulting from advanced data analysis that summarizes content clearly, concisely, and in a tone and format befitting the message, audience and objective of the writer; expresses thoughts and opinions verbally to others in a clear and concise manner; presents/facilitates training sessions/project updates/general communications to all levels of staff, management and senior management.

  • Performs analysis of major and critical business issues and recommends and implements sustainable strategic solutions utilizing established methodology and tools; analysis may vary and include oversight of dashboards, budgets, and department analysis.

  • Provide leadership and collaboration in completing analysis, information or process mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related areas; interests and evaluates information to develop approaches to difficult problems, both technical and managerial in nature; conducts data analysis and complex dashboards and metric reports; persuades and influences stakeholders of best outcomes.

  • Leads development and design of new business processes of a major and critical nature and the elaboration and updating of existing business processes; manages, through effective delegation and influence, the activities of two or more projects, business processes or functions with minimal supervision; may lead or participate in Systemwide workgroups; serves as a mentor for guidance on new projects or assignments to less-experienced staff.

  • Demonstrates leadership ability with a focus on promoting collaborative work environments through highly effective meeting facilitation; draws on experience to resolve progressively complex issues; demonstrates flexibility to make adjustments as needed; demonstrated ability to handle ambiguous information and/or assignments that require individual research and collaboration with stakeholders.

  • May serve as a project leader. Directs, coordinates, and provides leadership support to cross-functional project teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four years equivalent experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Eight or more years in Human Resources Audit, Risk/Compliance

  • Detail-oriented mindset, excellent organization skills, and ability to adhere to deadlines.

  • Proven success working with various levels of management.

  • Ability to deliver challenging assignments with time sensitivity & criticality within assigned timelines.

  • Ability to coordinate, execute, and track projects with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to evaluate situations, problem solve, and overcome hurdles.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate across departments.

  • Demonstration of advanced proficiency skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
