Robert Half IT Auditor in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are in search of a diligent IT Auditor to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is tailored towards individuals with a knack for evaluating internal controls, providing expertise for corporate functions, and conducting risk assessments. As an IT Auditor, you will be engaged in auditing activities within a telecom provider setting, offering a chance to work with various business systems and contribute significantly to our compliance and auditing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Engage actively in the annual audit plan and associated risk assessments.

• Provide valuable insights and expertise for corporate functions and divisional operations.

• Evaluate the efficacy of internal controls and interpret field audit results for any weaknesses or non-compliance with internal procedures and policies.

• Determine root causes for control issues and develop practical solutions and recommendations.

• Review audit universe for inclusion or exclusion of new line of businesses, entities, and risk evaluations.

• Participate in gathering and evaluating large amounts of data, providing trend analysis and operational, financial insights.

• Develop audit working papers in accordance with departmental standards to complete the audit work and support the audit findings and recommendations to management.

• Contribute to the development of audit programs, understanding the company's financial and management policies, and global processes.

• Provide guidance to the audit team in the audit design, implementation, and close out of audits.

• Provide oversight of staff including talent acquisition, retention, and development. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing.

• Proven expertise in Archer, Audit Program, Business systems.

• Proficiency in CobiT and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Familiarity with Application controls, Audit Findings, Auditing.

• Strong understanding of Compliance and Documentation processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team and independently.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be an added advantage. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
