  • Analysis and Screening: Analyze bid specifications with precision and insight to ensure our proposals meet client needs.

  • Consultation: Collaborate closely with sales and account management teams, providing expertise on underwriting guidelines.

  • Communication: Be proactive in communications with brokers and internal partners, ensuring seamless information flow and follow-up.

  • Data Management: Use our proprietary rating engine, entering and handling crucial data for accurate proposals.

  • Broker Education: Share your knowledge with our partners, helping them understand our offerings inside and out.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 2+ years of experience required

  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a Life & Health license within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.

  • Requires ability to understand and maintain knowledge of insurance operations, products, and concepts with the ability to apply marketing strategies and systems

  • Requires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills plus the ability to develop effective relationships and motivate producer behavior

  • Must have excellent level Excel skills as well as Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Salesforce experience a plus

  • Must work well under pressure and be self-directed

  • Some travel may be required including overnight stays (5%)

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$51000 - $82000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This is a hybrid position with flexibility of working at home and in the office.

Job Level

We’ll consider talent at the Sr. Internal Sales Specialist level with the right experience and skills.
