The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Senior Account Executive to help launch our Southeast Technical Services division in Atlanta, GA.
We are looking for an energetic candidate to join our team of top-performing sales professionals. This role presents a dynamic chance to impact clients by delivering consultative solutions within the built environment, focusing on optimizing their assets, operations, and utility expenditures.
Ideal candidates have experience selling consultative services into the local government, K-12, higher education, or healthcare, or possess technical expertise and wish to transition into sales. This role also offers significant growth potential as McKinstry's expands its Technical Services division in the Georgia market.
In this role, your day-to-day will consist of:
Developing and executing a sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
Fostering connections with critical stakeholders and decision-makers in the built environment to help them achieve their facility objectives
Qualifying, Developing and Delivering consultative solutions to impact the unique needs of each client
Staying informed about industry trends and innovations and conveying this knowledge to clients
Collaborating with other McKinstry divisions to ensure a seamless experience for our clients
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
7-10 years of demonstrated sales experience with a consistent history of meeting and surpassing goals or 7-10 years of operational experience in commissioning HVAC systems/conducting facility audits and a desire to transition into sales.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent business experience preferred.
Knowledge of controls, HVAC systems, and/or building energy efficiency preferred.
An in-depth knowledge of the built environment and our clients' challenges
Exceptional consultative sales abilities and proficiency in fostering relationships and trust with key stakeholders
The ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical clients
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
A proactive attitude with a desire for ongoing learning and improvement.

T he pay range for this position is $106,650 - $159,975 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
