Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled Excel Data Analyst with experience in Hardware Asset Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in Excel, and a thorough understanding of asset management processes. This role will be responsible for managing and analyzing hardware assets to optimize their utilization, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support decision-making processes.
This position must be located within 45 minutes of a CGI office and can be performed in a hybrid model.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
· Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for tracking hardware assets.
• Analyze Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced Excel functions to manage and interpret data.
• large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
· Hardware Asset Management:
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of hardware assets and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and IT teams to track and manage hardware lifecycle.
· Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements for asset management and data analysis.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for hardware asset management.
• Provide training and support to team members on asset management best practices.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with IT, finance, and operations teams to align asset management with organizational goals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on asset status and project progress.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data
visualization.
• Familiarity with database management and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
• Knowledge of hardware asset management principles and best practices.
· Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of asset logistics, chain of custody, and the data required to manage
those items
Familiarity with configuration management database fields (Cis) and IT Service Management
Systems
IAITAM CHAMP or CAMSE Certification

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $49,400 - $126,600.”
