Robert Half Accounting Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is in the finance industry and involves overseeing all accounting operational functions, consolidating financial data, evaluating internal control systems, and leading a team.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the operations of the finance department, which includes tasks such as accounts payable, billings and collections, and payroll
• Manage the month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet
• Ensure accuracy in account reconciliations and general ledger analysis
• Prepare and review cash-flow reports and project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals
• Implement strategies for timely billing and cash management to ensure prompt cash collection
• Present detailed monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partners
• Assist in the creation of the annual budget and forecasts, and monitor them on a monthly basis
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Financial Statement Preparation, General Ledger, Month End Close, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation
• Experience in managing General Ledger
• Demonstrated ability in Month End Close
• Familiarity with NetSuite software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
