Trinity Health Food Service Supervisor, Highland Hills, 10:30-7pm in Athens, Georgia

Description:

  • Responsible for high quality and properly prepared foods using approved recipes

  • Follows proper food handling techniques

  • Maintains work areas, equipment and utensils in a sanitary manner

  • Implements, observes safety, environmental and infection control standards

  • Must be able to efficiently organize production schedules to meet demands of the operation

  • Must be able to work from weekly menus and production sheets using approved recipes to prepare food items, observe routine work schedules and follow the System and departmental procedures

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Vocational training in quantity food preparation and sanitation is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year’s previous food service cooking experience in a healthcare facility, institution or full service restaurant under the guidance of a qualified Chef is required

Special Qualifications: Must promote good customer relations by providing quality products in an attractive environment in which to eat, provide a high level of cleanliness and respond to customers requests promptly
