Responsibilities
Position Summary:
An amazing opportunity has just opened up for a Director of Nursing Perioperative Services based at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. This position will oversee Perioperative Services for our 67 bed hospital located in Arroyo Grande. In this role, you’ll oversee oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room, PACU, Ambulatory Services, and Sterile Processing. You will empower your front line leaders, develop and manage budget, resources allocation, and strategy. You will assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance patient experience.
At Arroyo Grande Community Hospital our surgical department consists of 3 operating rooms, with an endoscopy suite. The OR suites are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. All service lines are supported including vascular/general, ortho, urology, gastrology, podiatry, and gyn. We currently have Blue Distinction status for Ortho and a Total Joint program.
We are looking for an experienced manager, with a strong background in intra-op services. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident, with excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups. You will tackle tough conversations, and above all, be an educator at heart. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required.
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of leadership experience required.
Required Licensure:
Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Pay Range
$68.76 - $99.70 /hour
