Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master at Blackspoke, you will champion agile practices and support the development teams in a high-stakes cloud environment.

What you will be working on: As the Scrum Master, you will:

  • Guide the scrum team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team.
  • Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track and communicate team metrics and progress within sprints and releases to all teams and management.
  • Assist in developing well-articulated user stories with clear acceptance criteria and help the scrum team with estimating these stories.
  • Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs.
  • Support internal and external communication and assist product owners with backlog grooming.
  • Facilitate discussion, conflict resolution, and promote continuous improvement within the team.

What you will bring to us (Must):

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience within the DoD or IC Community.
  • Experience leading Agile Scrum teams, particularly in a cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps and/or software/application development processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Atlassian Agile products, specifically JIRA and Confluence.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):

  • 5+ years of experience within the DoD or IC Community.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist Certification.
