Pac Arctic LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Support Services Management Analyst II Senior (Editorial Assistant) with a Secret Clearance to support PAC and our Government customer in Arlington, VA.

The Support Services Management Analyst II Senior (Editorial Assistant) will provide help desk and end-user desktop services for an office of approximately 500 IT users operating in both an unclassified and classified environment domestically and overseas and provide highly reliable, effective, timely and secure network support and services with minimal disruption to services and customers.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The contractor shall have the following general duties and responsibilities:

  • Supports the ISP quality assurance program by reviewing draft reports and detailed work papers to ensure adherence to the Council of the Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation, and ISP and OIG policies.

  • Advises inspectors on revisions to portions or sections of reports to ensure that the substantive facts, issues, conclusions, and recommendations are supported by sufficient evidence and discussed in an appropriate manner.

  • Supports the Quality Division’s efforts to assure editorial quality, readability, and appropriate presentation of ISP reports.

  • Reviews cleared final reports for publication, assuring that the report's final version is complete, has the required supporting documents, and is ready for publication.

  • Under the direction of the Director and Supervisory Management Analysts in the Quality Division, coordinates and participates in the development of training courses for all inspectors to communicate the importance of quality controls and the standards on which OIG bases its work.

  • Performs final proofreading on inspection reports and supporting documents to correct minor typographical and grammatical errors.

  • Responsible for producing all final products in a timely manner to meet established deadlines.

  • Responsible for report files management.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • Five or more years’ experience researching or reviewing inspection reports and work papers to ensure compliance with CIGIE Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation.

  • Five or more years’ experience advising writers on revisions to portions or sections of written products to ensure compliance with CIGIE Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation.

  • Excellent skills in communication, both oral and written.

  • Experience using GPO style guidelines to proofread inspection reports and correct minor typographical and grammatical errors.

  • Experience using Microsoft Word to edit, format, paginate, and lay out inspection reports.

  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint libraries for files management

  • Secret Clearance required.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
