Heavy Bulky & Services (HBS) is focused on delivering enhanced experience and profitability for our largest, and often highest consideration, products. With an elevated average price point, high damage rates, and slower delivery speeds there is substantial opportunity to drive value and improved CX on a growing cohort of business.

The Senior Product Manager (PM) role in HBS will be primarily focused on our regionalization product, Regional Fulfillment Offer (RFO). Through RFO we are reducing damages and ship costs, enabling net new regional selection, and working with various partner teams to minimize any adverse impacts of regionalization. This role will own multiple features on the RFO roadmap, working directly with engineering, platform teams and leaders, operations, and partner teams across retail.

As a Senior PM within Amazon, you have the opportunity to invent new products and features on behalf of customers. You will get to work cross-functionally on driving ideas from conception to execution, developing marketing plans to drive awareness and adoption, segmenting customers and developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, and managing strategic projects.

Key job responsibilities

-Be a key contributor for our regionalization workstream, partnering with cross functional teams to drive your product vision.

-Identify gaps in tech and drive products that unlock business value, influencing and working with technology, operations and business teams and leaders.

-Work to refine product mission, goals, and supporting business metrics and indicators for success

-Own and present Business Requirements Documents and gain stakeholder buy-in

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
