Position Purpose:

This position works independently with engineering and maintenance teams to develop the new plant equipment preventive maintenance (PM) following the OEM manuals and in coordination with the O&M coordinator manager. The areas to cover are mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.

Primary Duties/responsibilities:

  • Obtain all equipment manuals and make assets list

  • Extract the equipment maintenance recommendation from daily, weekly, monthly quarterly, semiannual, annually and hours of operation

  • Develop a google sheet list by asset and maintenance recommendation as per manufacture

  • Learn and receive training to utilize VAMS (Veolia Asset Management System)

  • Input all PMs into system

  • Run reports or print out PMs to verify data into VAMS

  • Schedule weekly or Biweekly meetings to track progress and to coordinate work

  • Work Supports Maintenance readiness progress report

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background:

  • College Coursework in engineering familiarized with maintenance or power plant equipment

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Ability to Work Well with Others

  • Willingness to Learn New Skills and Technologies

  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

  • Data Management or (Ability to Apply MS Excel Skills to Google Sheets)

  • GMail Knowledge (preferred)

  • Motivated and collaborative team player

  • Strong work ethic with ability to meet respective deadlines
