Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Farm Worker/Laborers to work in Argyle, MN. From: 08/01/2024 to 05/31/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day. Working after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. As required in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. JOB DUTIES: Operate loaders, augers, and conveyers for unloading grain trucks into storage facilities at harvest; manually dump grain from grain trucks and semis with hopper bottom trailers during harvest; grade grain and coordinate truck movement; performing preventative maintenance and repairs, cleaning worksite and equipment; driving vehicle to obtain parts and supplies; daily repairs and maintenance to equipment and machinery. Employer may give pay increases for longevity and experience. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain a drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Exposure to extreme temperatures, pushing, pulling sitting, walking and repetitive movements. Post hire random drug testing at employer's expense to enforce a drug-free workplace policy; No high school diploma or GED. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
