Eaton Corporation Senior Engineer (Electrical Design - LVA) in Arden, North Carolina
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Senior Engineer (Electrical Design - LVA) at our Arden, NC location.
In this role, you will develop engineering solutions to complex problems pertaining to new product development, materials, manufacturing processes, tests, and unique product applications.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. Relocation assistance provided to eligible candidates!

What you’ll do:
Develop digital, analog, and power electronic circuit board designs, analysis, and simulations utilizing tools such as PSPICE, MathCAD, and Altium PCB Designer.
Participates as a team member or serves as the leader of cross-functional project design teams. Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
Ensure successful completion of assigned projects within the budgeted time and cost constraints. Participates in defining engineering approaches including the planning and scheduling of work.
Executes all design, development, and related technical tasks required to maintain the product line.
Develop product designs that may require the implementation of unique innovative solutions.
Initiates and prepares specifications for products, equipment, and processes while maintaining awareness and control of costs.
Design analog, digital and communication interfaces for connected products.
Coordinates all third-party design and certification testing to meet applicable industry standards.
Contributes to organizational technical and business strategy.
Must be capable of writing articles for trade and technical publications, presenting papers and preparing patent disclosures.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years of electrical engineering design experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of electrical engineering design experience.
Position Criteria:
Willing to travel occasionally to support product design, certification testing, and product line initiatives.
Willing to build and test prototypes in the lab as necessary
