Description We are offering an opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance in the hospitality industry, situated in Anza, California, 92539, United States. This role will involve managing and directing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading our finance team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial operations and strategies in the hospitality sector.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to maintain and analyze financial records.
• Conduct comprehensive auditing to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and manage financial reports to assess the financial performance of the company.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in the hospitality industry.
• Lead the finance team, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
• Implement effective financial strategies to enhance profitability.
• Monitor financial trends and forecasts to inform strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other department heads to align financial strategies with company goals.
• Handle financial disputes, resolving them in a timely and detail oriented manner. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Software Systems
• Proficiency in Auditing and Financial Reporting
• Comprehensive understanding of Compliance within the finance sector
• Exceptional Leadership Skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans
• High level of integrity and detail oriented ethics
• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
