A respected religious organization is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable to join our team. In this role, you will manage calendars, prepare presentations, process invoices, assist with bank reconciliations, generate reports, and maintain accurate financial records. You'll provide timely responses to vendors, execute weekly payments, support annual audits, and perform additional duties as needed. If you have organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, today and contribute to our mission-driven organization.
salary: $20 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Support administrative tasks including managing calendars, preparing presentations, handling correspondence, and general office duties for the Finance Department.
Ensure accuracy of vendor invoices and payments, match purchase orders, and verify correct use of general ledger codes.
Execute weekly vendor payments via check or ACH and prepare necessary documentation.
Process invoices, assist with bank reconciliations, and compile reports such as AP Aging and Check Registers.
Conduct research to deliver accurate responses to vendors and internal clients.
Maintain organized financial filing systems for easy access.
Assist with annual audits by providing required documentation.
Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary.
