MTC HVAC Maintenance Technician in Anson, Texas
Overview
Pay: $23.87 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

What youll do: Youll be responsible for duties involving HVAC repairs and general maintenance repairs on equipment and buildings, assisting with technical trades such as plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry.
Essential functions:
Perform maintenance and repair of structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, ventilation, and air conditioning and drainage systems. Recommend contracted assistance when on-center repair is not possible.
Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed, which may include standing or climbing on a ladder to perform such functions.
Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
Direct the work of detainees assigned to facility maintenance as appropriate.
Perform on-call support in emergency situations when equipment malfunctions.
Education and experience requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Training and licensing in the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems required.
General knowledge of repair and maintenance, and three (3) years of maintenance or related experience also required.
Must successfully complete preservice training.
Valid drivers license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
