Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description (Responsibilities)
Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.
Worked with hand and power tools based and complete assemblies based off work instructions
Move machines as required.
Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.
Use a manual and electric pallet jack.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Hours: 330pm to 2:00am (Monday - Thursday) Potential overtime on Fridays
Essential Skills
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
The ability to bend, twist, or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.
6 months of previous working experience.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Ability to work with power tools or hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in mechanical assembly and the use of tools.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Versatility to be trained in multiple assembly lines.

Work Environment
This is a manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned and can get hot in the summer. However, it is the newest part of the building, well-lit with skylights, and organized. Employees work in 'assembly pods' composed of roughly 3-4 people, where they will assemble certain machines. They will lean one 'pod/cell' at a time and then cross-train into other areas. It is a very team-oriented environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
