This position serves as the primary liaison with local high school district partnerships for the dual enrollment and early middle college programs. It coordinates the admissions and enrollment processes, supports student success, and manages program logistics and data. This position works to achieve three priorities for the program: (1) Student Success, (2) Healthy Partnerships, (3) Dual Enrollment/Early Middle College Growth.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaboration & Success: Foster relationships with K-12 staff, students, and parents, collaborating for enhanced student success in dual enrollment and early middle college programs, maintaining proactive communication and commitments with all partners. Consistently strive to improve operations in support of improved student success.

• Dual Enrollment Coordination: Coordinate dual enrollment processes, including promotion, events, testing, registration, orientation, semesterly billing reports, success reports, and on-site class needs. Engage with regional stakeholders and K-12 entities to increase program access and coordinate follow-up with internal departments. Monitor dual enrollment by high school and assist in formalizing new K-12 partnerships.

• Early Middle College Coordination: Coordinate all facets of early middle college programs including student onboarding, orientation, course reviews, registration, student concerns, graduation eligibility, and events. Assist identifying opportunities and support the establishment of new early middle college programs.

• Special Programs Coordination: Lead collaboration and development of special programs like the (Certified Nurse Assistant) C.N.A. program and summer bridge initiatives, and implement new programs as required.

• Testing Coordination: Partner with K-12 schools and WCC Testing Center to facilitate testing and coordinate logistics. Monitor academic placement score testing results and work with WCC/K-12 partners to develop interventions to improve student outcomes and access to dual enrollment/early middle college.

• Student Records: Coordinate dual enrollment and early middle college admissions process, maintain accurate student records, adjust student status, assist school counselors with report access, manage student documentation and grade reports. Ensure student records are being utilized according to FERPA regulations.

 

Related Duties:

• Utilize databases, reports, and dashboards within CRM tools to maintain accurate records and reporting of dual enrollment and early middle college students.

• Implement early alert processes to monitor and communicate students' academic progress for all students.

• Review reports on dual enrollment financial invoicing and tuition payments; alert Dean to discrepancies.

• Collaborate to maintain regularly published communications to K-12 counselors and parents through newsletters, websites, or other electronic formats.
