Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) is searching for an Inventory Analyst based onsite in our Andover, MA facility. The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the working with a team that reviews CILs current inventory and identifies items that require shelf-life testing. The Inventory Analyst ensures the shelf-life testing is reviewed and the batch disposition code is updated based on the recommended course of action. The Inventory Analyst will also assist with Supply Chain projects, ensuring CIL’s processes remain up to date as continuous improvements are made to the system.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with CIL’s shelf-life program. Review products that are approaching their respective retest dates and recommend a course of action based on demand. Update batch disposition code to ensure testing is coordinated.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure shelf-life testing is reviewed and performed in advance of customer orders.

  • Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop a slow moving and dead inventory program to improve the rotation of our inventory.

  • Work on Supply Chain Projects. Work with a team to execute a plan for working on projects and following through to completion.

  • Provide updates on her initiatives in bi-weekly meetings to evaluate project progress and provide updates to team.

  • Investigate inventory reconciliations for cycle count program.

  • Perform and investigate requests for inventory adjustments, as needed.

  • Write & edit department work instructions.

  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with scientific background.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field of supply chain and/or inventory.

  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and attention to details.

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet software

  • Solid computer, organization, and communication skills; the ability to follow tasks through to completion; detail orientation; and the ability to multitask and meet multiple and changing deadlines.

In high technology, deuterated organic molecules and deuterium gas are commonly used in the manufacturing of microelectronics and OLEDs, which contribute to the increased lifetime of the devices.
