St. Mary's Healthcare Psychiatrist-Inpatient in Amsterdam, New York
St. Mary’s Healthcare seeks a full-time, board-certified Inpatient Psychiatrist for our 20-bed Mental Health Unit. Located in beautiful Upstate New York, St. Mary’s offers a robust array of behavioral health services to meet the needs of those in our community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate, patient-centered team committed to clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes.
The position is Monday – Friday (days) with rotating call coverage.
(Wage transparency range: $285K – 325K)
Responsibilities include:
Assess, diagnose, and treat acute mental health conditions.
Order or perform medical and psychological tests to aid in diagnosis.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans; prescribe medications and other forms of treatment.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Provide consultation as needed.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plan as needed.
Complete necessary documentation.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Must be board-certified in Psychiatry
Must be NYS Licensed
