Purpose of Role
Under Armour is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to execute the continuous QA strategy for UA eCommerce iOs, Android and web applications, as well as for end-to-end landscape in EMEA region. As a part of EMEA Technology team, you will be responsible for actively adapting QA methodology in the region and instilling that Quality Assurance starts at the beginning of a project or product lifecycle with the cross functional teams.
As part of the EMEA eCom squad, and as a member of the Global QA Team, you will work closely with the EMEA and Global Delivery, Engineering, Program, and Product teams, to coordinate the delivery of digital products and features for UA eCommerce platforms. The QA Engineer will participate and assure quality in projects, features, and coordinated Automation testing. The QA Engineer will also contribute to requirement analysis, test design, and functional requirement verification. Furthermore, they will contribute to API testing, backend testing, data analytics testing, and UI/UX testing, where applicable.

Your Impact
You will take ownership of leading the quality of an assigned project and its features
You participate in multiple cross functional product development teams
You ensure full-stack functionality and new user-facing features are thoroughly tested before release to minimize bugs (UI and UX analysis and testing)
You assist assigned Delivery Lead with creating project resource estimates, metrics to track completion phase
You create defect, defect prevention, development efficiency and quality reports
You perform a thorough test planning (API, backend, Data Analytics) for a portfolio of application projects (cross-platform development, separate feature projects)
You advocate the QA best practices and have an automation mindset to assist shaping our practices in the region for the future
You partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Delivery, etc.), to proactively identify and manage QA dependencies, scope, and acceptance criteria
You deeply understand user flows in the apps and website
You work closely with production team to help prioritize risk management and testing across products and platforms
You verify functional testing and work closely with the key technical analysts & business stakeholders
You take an initiative to chase down answers and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews and Demos for your teams
You coordinate keeping project artifacts up to date in UA business systems like Confluence and JIRA
You escalate issues and impacts to delivery timelines and work proactively with teams to remove barriers to project execution
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, working within a cross-functional team
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Hands-on experience with JIRA or Confluence
Experience in Ecommerce on Wed or Native Mobile, preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Headless platforms
Basic knowledge of agile principles and scrum processes
Proficiency in performing root cause, change impact and risk-based test analysis
