The Team

This role sits in the Global Brand Marketing structure that defines and executes the brand strategy and creative content for Tommy Hilfiger globally. Within that sits our Creative Direction team which is made up of Art Directors and Designers. This team is the internal creative agency that concepts, shoots, selects, designs and builds large volumes of consumer-facing content. It is a brief-driven organization that executes against the TH Global Brand Playbook for all projects and campaigns. It also acts as a key contributor and guardian to those guidelines.

The Position

As part of the design function, the Manager, Brand Design brings the Tommy Hilfiger brand to life by building visual assets and graphic designs. Using the latest techniques and tooling it develops and executes a wide variety of creative output for differing usages across multiple channels including E-Commerce, digital marketing, social media, online advertising, retail, events, campaign and more. It will also help build internal style guides and seasonal templates to ensure visual standards. Finally, the role will work closely with the Senior Director, Creative Direction, and any external resources to help approve graphic design work and ensure technical and aesthetic requirements are met. It also helps review new processes proposed by the Senior Director, that scale design production and adaptive take-downs. Whilst the role has no people management responsibility, it is the most senior designer in the team and mentors others to accurately execute the operational plan and creative vision of the Senior Director, Creative Direction.

  • Concept, build and deliver any graphic design project as allocated by Operations team.

  • In collaboration with E-Com stakeholders, help with monthly home page updates, landing pages, headers, e-spots, shop the look and other features.

  • In collaboration with CRM stakeholders, design and build newsletters and emailers adhering to wireframes and business objectives.

  • In collaboration with Social Media stakeholders, design, amend and deliver assets including skins, crops, adaptations, albums as well as providing design guidance and expertise.

  • In collaboration with Online & Digital Marketing stakeholders, execute projects to brief.

  • Support 360 marketing initiatives in whatever capacity required including image research, preparing layouts and internal deck presentations.

  • Own and deliver technical specs to all stakeholders and external parties to ensure best practice on work outside of individual project deliverables.

  • Overall aesthetic brand design guardianship aligned to Senior Director, Creative Direction and TH Global Brand Playbook delivered in a mentorship style as opposed to a policing approach.

  • Deputizes for Senior Director, Creative Direction on all things Design in their absence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 7 years of similar or related graphic design work experience ideally within the fashion industry.

  • Deep working knowledge of design/animation tools inc. full Adobe suite, Figma and After Effects.

  • Developed aesthetic awareness and design principles evident in work to date.

  • University or Engineering degree educated.

  • Good problem-solving skills and able to work with general instruction.

  • Ability to process map and define new procedures within discipline.

  • Effective collaborator that builds bridges with teams and stakeholders.

  • Can demonstrate strong indexing in above PVH Leadership Behaviors at least.
