Robert Half Sr. Project Manager in Amherst, Massachusetts

Description We are in the education industry, located in Amherst, Massachusetts, offering a short-term contract for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant. You will be joining our enterprise applications team, which includes architects, developers, and Business Analysts who are experts in their enterprise systems. Your role will focus on project oversight, acting as an advisor to the systems we are working with, and providing support for various upgrades and implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage different upgrades and implementations within the enterprise systems

• Act as the primary advisor for the enterprise systems, providing expert knowledge and guidance

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and Business Analysts in the team to ensure smooth operation of the systems

• Develop and maintain a system to track reports such as promotions, tenure, research profiles, etc.

• Create libraries for access to all of these reports across multiple business offices

• Utilize skills in PMO - Project Management Office, Project Management, Enterprise Environment, Enterprise Level, Enterprise Software, Enterprise Software Development, and Enterprise System

• Work closely with the team to identify needs and areas for improvement in the enterprise systems

• Ensure all projects are completed within set timelines and meet quality standards

• Use PeopleSoft Campus Solutions for various tasks within the role. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management or Senior Consultant roles within the education industry

• Proven track record in managing projects in an Enterprise Environment

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Level project management

• Proficient in using Enterprise Software and Enterprise Software Development tools

• Demonstrated ability to handle Enterprise System projects

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is a must

• Experience in working with PMO - Project Management Office

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related fields; Master's degree preferred

• Relevant certifications in Project Management would be advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
