This range is a good- faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Repairing common issues, including ground fault, inverter malfunction/failure, wire damage, blown fuses, and A/C disconnect box failure
Diagnosing panel and panel connection issues via roof access
Issuing RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) for improperly functioning materials
Tracking field progress, including taking pictures and creating brief reports
Measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules
Connecting installed solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations
Organizing and maintaining system components
Maintaining documentation of completed installations
Applying weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms
Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Current/Active Massachusetts Journeyman License
OSHA- 10 Certification or a willingness to obtain it
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the solar field preferred
