Danaher has a matrixed and decentralized organizational structure. With a significant presence in Europe, Danaher’s 16 operating companies (OpCos) present a wide breadth of employee representative forums, including 50+ works councils across Europe. Danaher is building a global Labor & Employee Relations function which includes a Center of Excellence (LER COE) service model which provides core labour and employee relations services to its operating companies.

The Labor & Employee Relations Europe - Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the operational excellence of Danaher’s labour and employee relations strategies in Europe.

This position is a member of the of the Danaher Corporate HR Labour and Employee Relations (LER) EU team and will be located in UK/IRL

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving operational and service delivery excellence consistent with the global LER COE model and collaborate with Operations Leads in other LER COE regions.

  • Partnering with Europe LER COE staff to develop and implement daily metrics and KPIs aligned to the enterprise framework, best practice reporting tools, and a review cadence to audit and monitor the efficiency of programs and processes that enable informed decisions.

  • Assessing and interpreting LER data and conducting trend analysis to identify insights, gaps, and to propose countermeasures and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Triaging Regional Europe LER cases, assessing the level/complexity of the matter, and assigning the matters to OpCo or to COE Staff

  • Supporting the implementation of innovative LER solutions that can be scaled to achieve broad impact, including serving as a Project Manager. Proactively identifying areas for improvement within current processes.

  • Contributing to the thought leadership about new technology in line with the needs of the global LER function.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University degree in Business, Human Resources, or another related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in human resources, (preferably with exposure to LER) in a European multinational context.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and data analysis skills.

  • Robust project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards

  • Excellent written and oral and presentation skills (English required and another European language would be a plus); able to communicate progress, results, and guidance clearly and concisely to critical stakeholders in a timely manner, including through various visual means such as powerpoint, Excel, etc.

  • Embraces and stays current with technological developments and actively seeks ways to leverage technology and data to drive improvement.

  • Advanced skills with MS Office Suite including Powerpoint and Excel and ideally use of a Case Management technology platform.

  • Limited travel
