Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team, working either in the Production Department or the Warehouse Department. In the Warehouse, responsibilities include unloading raw materials from semi-trucks, loading palletized finished products onto semi-trucks, and manually depalletizing shipments into smaller orders, handling items up to 25 pounds. In Production, the role involves transporting raw materials from the warehouse to production lines and moving finished products to the warehouse for staging and loading.
Hard Skills
Operate sit down forklift (gas or electric)
Experience with 2 fork forklift
Proficiency in loading and unloading
Understanding of loading patterns
Knowledge of SAP System
Inventory management
Adherence to forklift safety protocols
Soft Skills
Ability to work on feet all day
Capability to perform repetitive motions
Comfort with strong smells in production areas
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in American Canyon, California.
Work Environment
This position is based in a fast-paced food production facility with a GMP regulated environment. Operators are required to adhere to strict hygiene and dress codes including washing hands, wearing hair nets, beard nets, and blue smocks. Operators should be prepared for wet conditions and repetitive tasks, and must not wear nails, lashes, polish, or jewelry.
