Contract Director Rx Senior
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the Altamonte Springs, FL PulsePoint location.
The Contract Director Rx Sr provides strategic leadership for all lines of business regarding pharmaceutical value and outcome-based contracting arrangements with pharmaceutical manufacturers. This includes alignment of the value proposition across business development, pharmacy operations, clinical and finance partners, throughout the enterprise.
How you will make an impact:
• Actively identify therapeutic areas of focus as potential targets for Pharma Discounts, Rebates, Fee for Service, and Value-Based contracting.
• Build relationships with leadership in all lines of business to ensure targeting is on track with other ongoing initiatives in the enterprise.
• Lead Pharma negotiations to develop, implement, and support program growth and drive incremental incentives.
• Coordinate and collaborate with clinical pharmacy and medical departments across the enterprise to ensure alignment of contracting and clinical objectives.
• Collaborate with various internal and external teams to evaluate complex data analytics, and interpret outcome measures to contractual terms and reporting.
• Manage pharmaceutical companies directly and be accountable for the cost of goods management.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BS; a minimum of 10 years of significant pharmaceutical contracting experience with accountable cost of good targets, along with a strong clinical background; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Advanced degree preferred – MS, MBA. PharmD preferred.
