ADP Senior PROS CPQ Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia

ADP is hiring a Senior PROS CPQ Software Engineer.

In this role, you will design, develop and deploy high-volume, scalable, enterprise-level, web-based applications. You will participate in system design, architecture decisions and code reviews. You will work in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment. You will identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate these issues. You will work in an Agile development environment focused on transformational technologies or approaches delivering on the future needs of end users. You will be working on current and upcoming projects that connect design, engineering, product development, and implementation. You'll share your operational and process maturity with a growing team while building solutions for a large enterprise to enable their Sales, Deal Support & Finance workforce.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to have a solid understanding of Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) Application suites and their Salesforce integration. You have experience working with CPQ enabling sales organizations to automate and optimize the creation of quotes and capture of orders. You have supported the digital commerce channel with user interfaces, integrations and APIs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • You will start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You must know Agile well.

  • You will apply your five years of software leadership towards delivering amazing results, implementing solutions and features to guide users in pricing optimization, selection of product options and features, automatic pricing of the chosen products and services, approval workflow, negotiation of terms and proposal generation.

  • Administer and migrate CPQ & APEX between environments. Configure CPQ Business rules and workflows. Maintain CPQ User Interface and Integrations. Updating Lookup for Deal Assessment. Regression / Action Force.com updates. Maintain Force.com API interfaces. Maintain & Mature APEX Code base.

  • You'll work with business leadership and project management to leverage your deep knowledge of sales automation & SaaS through collaboration as a technical authority on digital transformation.

  • You have 3+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

  • You'll have a Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in software development on CPQ. Required: Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, Steps, Commerce & Configuration Layout Design, BOM Mapping

  • Administration: Environment Setup, Data Table Management, File Manager, User and Group Management, Parts creation, Code Migration, and Cascading Stylesheets (CSS).

  • Preferred: Apex; Visualforce; Lightning Component framework; SOQL; Custom objects

  • Object-oriented programming including C# or Java

  • Script languages including JavaScript; Web services; HTML and CSS

  • Relational Database (SQL Server or Oracle)
