Equifax, Inc. Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) in Alpharetta, Georgia
Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, to lead complex testing efforts, estimating time and resources. Define test environment configuration and define test cases outside of user-defined requirements and perform testing of applications, focusing on functional and end-to-end testing, validating system response and output accurately reflect business requirements as outlined in requirements document. Build and Recommend changes to existing testing methodologies. Coordinate with business users and development team to plan and execute user acceptance testing. Identify and resolve test environment issues and perform defect analysis, identifying trends and recommending process improvements. Monitoring tools for different transformation teams. Author and execute automation and manual Test Cases for Functional testing of various modules of the application. Build a regression testing Suite for the platform. Perform API testing using REST and Java framework for Web Services testing. Develop test code in Gherkin language using Eclipse IDE and in-house testing framework E1AF. Review Kibana logs to help to identify the root cause of the issues identified and coordinate with automation resources to ensure proper automation developed. Build Automation Testing suite using Cucumber framework.
Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in software QA automation, as a software development engineer in Test (SDET) or related occupation or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in software QA automation, as a software development engineer in Test (SDET) or related occupation. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): architecture, design and implementation of QA automation frameworks; managing teams/resources across geographic location; automated and manual testing; Agile methodologies and SDLC; Java Selenium Programming and implementing CI/CD using Jenkins; Rest Assured API Automation using Cucumber; and testing reports/dashboards and JIRA for tracking defects to resolution using tools including Zephyr.
