The Digital & IT Analyst will support the Alliance, NE site from an IT standpoint by supporting all IT Infrastructure and IT initiatives. As an IT business partner, you’ll specialize in business analytics and business processes, utilizing critical knowledge and strong project management skills to solve problems, identify opportunities and drive improvement initiatives.
This role requires you to drive results and proactively identify and resolve problems.
Learn and become an expert in all IT systems in the Alliance, NE facility.
Managing incidents and requests for the Alliance, NE facility. This will sometimes be in coordination with other division IT analyst and the global IT service desk.
Responsible for direct interaction with internal customers, including, but not limited to, investigating comprehensive business requirements and recommending appropriate solutions.
Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.
Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects.
Coordinate with division IT, group IT, and corporate IT teams to implement new initiatives and standards.
Stay abreast of new Digital and IT technological innovation/processes and research their usage at Parker.
Take initiative to suggest and implement IT process improvements.
Manage endpoint lifecycle of on-site assets.
Evaluate unplanned requests and determine appropriate priority and action.
Follow established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area.
Provide after-hour technical support as needed.
Overnight travel to other division locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions as needed.
Manage and upgrade virtual infrastructure across VMware and Azure deployments.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
2+ years of experience in an information technology role or related discipline required
2+ years of experience in a support or service role, actively interacting with customers on a regular basis required
2+ years of experience with maintenance and repair of computer hardware required
Microsoft Active Directory applications experience required
Business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite experience required
Experience with Zebra printer management, preferred
Experience with Microsoft Access, preferred
IT Service Management ticketing tool such as ServiceNow, preferred
Manufacturing environment, preferred
Microsoft Certified Professional, preferred
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, preferred
CompTIA A+, preferred
Virtualization experience and/or certifications with VMware and Microsoft Azure, preferred
Skills:
Strong customer service orientation
Proficiency in English language, including speaking, reading, and writing
Ability to apply innovative thinking toward problem resolution
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a team environment
Ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work for extended periods of time while sitting or standing.
Ability to use hands and fingers for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds.
